This mid- to late-1950s nightgown is so feminine, with ruching and lace along the bodice edge and wide straps, embroidered detail on the gathered bodice, a wide ruffle hem, and a narrow satin ribbon to cinch the back-elasticized waist. Would also serve well as a full slip under looser-fitting dresses.
